Double winner of the Jazz Forum 2019 survey in the New Hope categories – individually as a Musician and with the band – Kasia Pietrzko Trio. Winner of Mateusz Trójka for her original style, musical imagination and memorable melodies and harmonies on her debut album „Forthright Stories” led by her trio. In the opinion of outstanding Polish jazz musicians, she is characterised by her improvisational sense, harmonic imagination and sound creativity. During her studies at the Academy of Music in Cracow, she developed her skills under the guidance of, among others, Aaron Parks in New York. Currently, she is a doctoral student of the Academy of Music in Cracow in the jazz piano class of Ph.D Dominik Wania.
